Current Song: X-Files Theme by Mark Snow
Been a while since the last update...
Anyway weeks ago, me & dear miss A went for a movie. Same movie watched with my friends a week after.
...no kidding.
Not bad. The actions are quite superb. Storyline, so-so. The theme song is just so evergreen, so unforgettable. I missed the good ol' series. Rating 5/10.
When I watched it with my friends, I remembered and cherished the day I had it with miss A. Makes me misses you more. ;)
Had an interview at UOA building, Bangsar (again!) last week. Different company this time. It's some sort of financial consultant company. The interview was quite a success and I'm supposed to wait for their call this week. If they happened not to call means I need to check back to them.
... and the interviewer thought I was Chinese... LOL!
Anyway, finished reading this novel adapted from a recently released game, Dead Island. A survival-horror game that's able to be played multiplayer via LAN/Internet. Reminds me much of Resident Evil franchise with total multiplayer team-up of Left 4 Dead series.
The story's kinda cool, although the game was kinda average by reviews (that's what I heard). Story of 4 people of different backgrounds met in an aeroplane came to Banoi island, called by certain organization that handle blood donation services (kinda like gameshow winners' prize of holiday). Kinda confusing from this part. Had no idea how to put it. You read yourself if you wanna know.
Then, that night a massive zombie outbreak started, infected the whole island overnight. The unlikely team of 4 joins up to survive the island while working out to get rescued.
Overall review, it's just another typical zombie story, only with more gore and violence. In some reasons this smells better than RE.
Right after that, time to catch up the 3rd book of Steve Alten's MEG saga...
... and that oversized maw can swallow a bus whole.
I've read some reviews that this 3rd installation stinks. Guess I have to finish it to find out.
Okay, that's it for now. Think that my body's calling me back to sleep.
Last but not least, I just wanted to express that dear A, I love you so much. Hope that you can overcome the pressure. The working world is never really that welcoming at first but I pray that you'll be fine always. Stay safe, patience and leave the rest to Allah s.w.t.
